SONY 2-DIN Player for Grandis

Have installed the SONY XAV-W1 into my Grandis replacing the "ugly looking" Single DIN Kenwood player.

I'm certainly impressed at the picture quality of this player.

Furthermore, you can add upgrades to this 2-DIN Touch screen monitor.
1) GPS
2) Disc Changer
3) Reverse Camera
4) Capture your Own Wallpaper
5) Karaoke
and many more......

Setback.....No USB. (but what the heck !!...I don't need USB for this player)
Plus point of this....it cost less than 3000.

In my opinion, the picture quality is also far more superior than Alpine, Clarion, Kenwood or JVC.

Hei Kenny
Happy to here you've started the MGC.
What Mapping is used for the GPS?
What model is this Sony Player?
Is the 3k a package? Speakers / AMP / etc
Cheers

fadzil, I'm still keeping the Single DIN. Yes, they have to cut the cable connecting the socket.

ruzadr, yes, when the headlights are switch ON, the display will dim. Furthermore, you can also control the brightness or switch OFF the display while playing.

The model is Sony XAV-W1. I think the retail price is MYR2999.

hi calbee k..! what is head unit? got picture..?

Anyways, i have installed a new KENWOOD 2-din player instead of the SONY. Cos, i was told that in the future, i can install KENWOOD navigator for GPS, and this player can link it and not the SONY or Pioneer.
